Text message terms
What you agreed to when you ticked the box, and how to stop it.
Last updated 21 August 2026
What you signed up for
- Text messages from Pulido Events about voting and your voter registration.
- That may include reminders about elections and deadlines, news about your registration, and campaign events, announcements and get-out-the-vote efforts.
- You opted in by ticking the box on the form with your mobile number in it.
How often, and what it costs
- Message frequency varies. Expect occasional messages, more often close to an election.
- Message and data rates may apply. That is between you and your mobile carrier; we do not charge you anything.
Stopping them
- Reply STOP to any message and they stop. You do not need to explain.
- Reply HELP to any message for help.
- You can also ask us to delete your record entirely, which removes your number with it.
Things outside our control
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- We cannot guarantee a message reaches you. Do not rely on a text as your only reminder to vote.
Is it required?
- To finish on this site, yes — the box has to be ticked, because contacting you about voting is the point of the drive.
- It is not required to register. You can fill in the State's form yourself, without this site and without giving anyone your number.
